The Future Croulebarbe for recorder quartet
2007, 3 minutes
The Future Croulebarbe was formerly the second movement of Everybody's Going There. In the end, though, the material and the larger piece didn't quite fit. So now it stands alone.
Croulebarbe is a street and neighborhood in southeastern Paris. It's most exciting feature is the river (the Bièvre), that runs underneath it.
The excerpt above is the second half of the piece, and was performed by Quartet New Generation.
